As our Assistant Workshop Manager you will be responsible for the general maintenance on all Motor Circuit vehicles. This is a truly unique opportunity where you can tap into your passion for classic cars, including a fleet of Land Rovers, Historic Racing Cars and modern vehicles. You will also be required to support the workshop Manager in their absence, by assuming responsibility for the General Administration of the workshop.
This will include, but not limited to, ensuring that adequate staff are scheduled to carry out planned, preventative and reactive vehicle maintenance so that the needs of our customers are met. Ensuring Goodwood’s high standards are met, and work is complete in a timely manner. You will also need to ensure that all aspects of our DMS (Dealer Management System) are properly utilised by staff, any replacement parts ordered in a timely manner, to ensure the needs of our customers, both internal and external are met.
You'll maintain, safety check and prepare all circuit vehicles to ensure they are ready for a fun and safe day on the Goodwood Racetrack. Follow up on corrective actions, whilst implementing counter measures to help minimise the reoccurrence of mechanical faults.
As an experienced Mechanic with an eagle eye for detail, you’ll be self-motivated with a passion for what you do and a "can do" attitude. You'll be joining a close-knit team based at the Motor Circuit and possess a genuine interest in Classic and modern era cars.What you’ll have:
